David BARTH Appointed President and CEO of Hitachi Construction Machinery France

Hitachi Construction Machinery France (HCMF) announces the appointment of David BARTH as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1, 2025. He succeeds Yuto IMADATE, who officially stepped down on September 30, 2025, after successfully overseeing the creation and development of the French subsidiary.

Having joined HCMF on July 1, 2025 as Managing Director, David BARTH immediately focused on strengthening the company’s territorial presence. His efforts have been directed toward optimizing existing service centers in Rennes, Nantes, Caen, and Paris, while also preparing for the upcoming opening of a new center in Rouen.

This regional network is a key strategic driver, designed to provide customers with greater responsiveness, local support, and tailored operational assistance that meet the concrete needs of jobsites across France. Under his leadership, HCMF teams are already engaged in practical initiatives and customer-focused solutions, reflecting the company’s commitment to combining proximity and efficiency in serving its clients.

All employees of Hitachi Construction Machinery France extend their appreciation to Yuto IMADATE, the company’s first President, whose deep knowledge of the Hitachi brand and ability to adapt Japanese values and methods to the French market laid the solid foundations of today’s organization.

The appointment of David BARTH marks a new strategic phase for Hitachi Construction Machinery France, one focused on strengthening its local footprint and fulfilling its ambition to be a trusted, long-term partner close to the field and dedicated to the success of construction professionals throughout the country.
