Bobcat Surpasses 30,000 Sales of Its Machine IQ Telematics Platform in Europe

Bobcat continues to strengthen its position in the European market, with over 30,000 machines equipped with its Machine IQ telematics platform. Launched in 2019, this connected solution provides customers and dealers with near real-time data on machine location, usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance, offering optimal control and improved productivity on construction sites.

Telematics for Safety and Efficiency

Available either factory-installed or as an aftermarket kit, Machine IQ enables precise monitoring of machines and their maintenance. The Standard plan, free for two years, includes maintenance tracking and machine grouping. The Premium plan adds advanced features such as geofencing, customizable alerts, detailed reporting, and now remote engine start/stop for loaders, mini-excavators, and telehandlers.

This technology helps prevent theft, reduce downtime, and extend machine lifespan. Several European users have already reported tangible benefits: rapid recovery of stolen equipment, proactive maintenance monitoring, and optimized fleet management.

For Tomas Plechaty, Senior Manager of the Machine IQ Program at Doosan Bobcat EMEA:

“Reaching 30,000 sales confirms the effectiveness of our connected machines. Customers are using this data to improve safety and productivity, and we will continue to invest in connected services.”

With Machine IQ, Bobcat confirms its customer-focused innovation strategy, offering digital solutions to secure, maintain, and maximize the use of its machines across European construction sites.vation centrée sur le client, en proposant des solutions numériques pour sécuriser, entretenir et exploiter au mieux ses machines sur les chantiers européens.
