LOXAM Sets Course for WorldSkills France 2025 to Train Tomorrow’s Talent

LOXAM met le cap sur WorldSkills France 2025 pour former les talents de demain

The 48th edition of WorldSkills France opens at Parc Chanot in Marseille, and LOXAM, Europe’s leading equipment rental company, is in attendance. Over three days, more than 800 young competitors from 15 regions will compete in over 65 technical, technological, and manual trades, showcasing their skills and creativity.

As a Gold Partner of the event, LOXAM is more than just a sponsor. The Group is setting up a showcase stand on the esplanade, presenting its flagship equipment and demonstrating its expertise in the rental sector. On October 16, a second stand will welcome CFA students at the construction hub, providing them with hands-on exposure to the Group’s trades.

Investing in Youth Training

For LOXAM, engagement with young talent goes beyond competition. Vocational training and apprenticeships are central to its HR strategy. Through partnerships with training institutions, the Group creates tangible pathways between education and the professional world. Apprenticeship days and recruitment sessions help identify and support tomorrow’s talent.

In 2024, nearly 200 apprentices were trained at LOXAM, while 87% of employees completed at least one training session, either online or at the Group’s Qualiopi-certified centers. These programs aim to enhance on-site safety, promote sustainable development, and support inclusion and diversity in the construction sector.

“Careers Driven by Passion”

For Fabio Di Mario, LOXAM’s HR Director, the Group’s commitment goes far beyond training:

“At LOXAM, our technical trades are first and foremost careers of passion, carried out by passionate people. Each year, we welcome hundreds of apprentices across our 500 branches in France and support them as they grow. Through comprehensive onboarding, technical and behavioral training, and real career opportunities, we build long-term, fulfilling careers.”
