Komatsu Introduces the New PW148-11 and PW190-11 Wheeled Hydraulic Excavators
Komatsu Europe expands its range with the PW148-11 and PW190-11 models, wheeled hydraulic excavators weighing 14 to 20 tonnes.
These compact machines feature a transport height of 3.1 m and a rear swing radius of 1.80 m for the PW148-11, allowing them to be transported on standard trailers and used in confined spaces. Powered by 4-cylinder Komatsu diesel engines (110 kW for the PW148-11, 129 kW for the PW190-11) compliant with Stage V emissions standards, they provide excavation, lifting, and material handling capabilities. The engines are also compatible with HVO diesel.
A low center of gravity, along with heated and ventilated seats, enhances stability and operator comfort. Primary functions are accessible via joysticks, and four cameras with bird’s-eye view improve visibility. The machines can be equipped with tiltrotator attachments and a 3D guidance system. The optional four-wheel steering provides three modes: front-wheel, four-wheel, or crab steering, facilitating maneuvering on site.
Diesel particulate filters require replacement every 8,000 hours. Maintenance is centralized and accessible from the ground. Key functions are displayed on the control screen and via Komtrax for remote monitoring.
