Hitachi Construction Machinery to Rebrand as LANDCROS in 2027

Hitachi Construction Machinery will operate under a new name, LANDCROS, starting April 1, 2027. The announcement marks a significant shift in the company’s strategic direction, as it broadens its scope from manufacturing equipment to delivering a wider range of integrated solutions combining machinery, services, connectivity and digital tools.

According to the company, the new name reflects this repositioning. “LAND” conveys a long-term vision focused on contributing to a sustainable and prosperous society, while “CROS” stands for Customer, Reliable, Open, Solutions, echoing the firm’s core commitments.

Despite the change in identity, the organisation stresses that its teams, services, distribution network and quality standards will remain in place. Clients can expect continuity in support and operations.

The rebrand also introduces a new visual identity and a stronger focus on digital services, notably through the LANDCROS Connect platform, which will play a growing role in the group’s offering.
