Liebherr extends maintenance intervals to 1,000 hours for Generation 6 material handlers

Liebherr is extending the maintenance intervals for its Generation 6 material handling machines. From the third scheduled service onwards, the interval increases from 500 to 1,000 operating hours. The new maintenance concept applies to electric material handlers from LH 40 to LH 150 as well as diesel-powered models from LH 30 to LH 150.

This adjustment is based on technical optimisations combined with the use of Liebherr original spare parts and specifically developed lubricants and operating fluids. As a result, maintenance costs can be reduced by up to 30%, while machine downtime is significantly decreased.

Longer intervals mean fewer service stops, reduced oil changes and filter replacements, and fewer service visits overall. For operators, this translates into higher machine availability and improved productivity, without compromising safety, performance or service life.

The extended maintenance intervals apply exclusively when maintenance is carried out according to Liebherr specifications, using original parts and approved consumables. With this approach, Liebherr continues to offer a reliable, structured service concept that supports efficient and predictable operation of its material handling machines.
