Rokbak builds on reliability and partnerships in 2025

Despite challenging market conditions across the construction equipment industry, Rokbak delivered a strong performance in 2025. Demand for the manufacturer’s robust and reliable articulated haulers remained solid, supported by customer confidence, major orders and the continued expansion of its global dealer network.

The global articulated hauler market is expected to close 2025 at just over 9,000 units, down from 10,300 the previous year. While North America – the largest market – experienced a slowdown, regions such as the UK, Africa and Italy recorded growth. Against this backdrop, Rokbak continued to perform well, with customers choosing its RA30 and RA40 models for their durability, fuel efficiency and high uptime. Highlights included a 25-unit RA30 order from a US infrastructure contractor and successful entry into new markets through dealer partnerships.

In Europe, Rokbak strengthened its footprint with new dealers DIR International Trading in Spain and Portugal, and Idromac in Italy, where demand for articulated dump trucks has grown by around 10% annually since 2021. Another key development was in Ireland, where long-standing dealer Sleator Plant expanded its coverage to the entire country following the opening of a purpose-built €1.2 million depot near Dublin.

75 years of manufacturing excellence

2025 also marked 75 years of manufacturing at Rokbak’s Motherwell facility in Scotland. Since 1950, the site has been central to the company’s engineering heritage, innovation and skilled workforce. This milestone was reinforced by Rokbak winning the Made in Scotland award and being shortlisted for the Made in Britain Awards.

Across the world, Rokbak haulers continue to prove themselves in demanding applications. In Canada, RA40 units are moving thousands of tonnes of material each week in tough quarry conditions. In the US and Northern Ireland, RA30 machines are praised for their reliability, low fuel consumption and productivity. The versatility of the platform is further demonstrated through the Hydex adaptation, which converts RA30 and RA40 haulers into high-capacity water trucks to meet growing demand for dust suppression across North America.

In 2025, Rokbak once again showed that a focus on proven reliability and strong partnerships remains central to its long-term success.
